Dream Listeners – Sound Course

How does an electrified lemon sound? Which one sings better, a ripe or a raw banana?

During four sessions, course participants build electroacoustic instruments from a variety of materials, creating a story and characters inspired by the exhibition of the Finnish pioneer of media art, Erkki Kurenniemi.

The course is designed for 8–12-year-old children. The course sessions are on 9, 16, 23 and 30 November, from 1 to 4 pm. The full course fee, 12 euros, is payable at the first session to the Kiasma Info Desk.

Max. number of participants is 20 children. The course is already full!

Course instructors are Alejandro Olarte, electroacoustic musician and educator from Colombia, and Jorge Raedó, theatre director and art educator from Spain. Course languages are Spanish, Finnish and English.
