A decade of URB festival!
For the tenth time running, Kiasma theatre's URB festival brings buzz to Helsinki in August, with urban art on many frequencies. Celebrating URB's decade of achievement, the festival features a broad range of acts from home and abroad. Urban art is inspected from various angles, in the forms of performance, fine arts, film, music, and discussion.
And last but definitely not least, skaters will be pleased to know the mini ramp will be assembled as early as June, for their enjoyment. This year mbar and Fanny, among other places, will play host to festival clubs. The Kallio district is the subject of exploration in Alkovi's MOMENTTEJA-project.
After ten festival-filled days, URB culminates in Kiasma's hugely popular free event, which showcases a range of new urban art in Kiasma and its immediate surroundings.
