Mika Taanila

From 1 November

Mika Taanila’s works move between documentary film and experimental video. They are often about technological utopias and future visions.

In the poetic video installation The Most Electrified Town In Finland (2004–2012), Taanila examines the construction of the Olkiluoto 3 nuclear reactor in Eurajoki, Finland. The work was premiered at dOCUMENTA (13) in Kassel.
